Chelamattam Sreekrishna Swamy Temple at Kovappady Panchath on the bank of Periyar river, western side of MC Road, 1 km and 3 km north of perumpavoor - enroute to kalady ( 8 kms) . Narasimha Muthy and Vamanamoorthy are other deities. There are two flag staffs ( Kodimaram ) in front of Sreekrishna and Narasimha Shrines. This river ( flows from west to east here ) side temple is famous for the oblations to the manes, particularly amavasi days. Annadanam on all sundays and amavasi days to the devotees. Good camping site for the Sabarimala pilgrims. Rest house is provided here for devotees. for more details
