Jordan Katie Price is best known as a businesswoman these days but she's still keen to return to her roots as a glamour model.

The 33-year-old started taking her clothes off for the camera and adopted the name Jordan when she was just 18, but has since developed a clothing line, written novels and is the star of her own TV show.

Katie, who first appeared in her birthday suit in Playboy magazine in 2002, is quoted to have said: "I've got another Playboy shoot in me. I still love getting my kit off because it's what I do best and it's got me where I am today. And I've also got plans for a film and a West End show."

She added: "I'll also have more kids, more horses and probably more husbands, about 12, I expect!"

Katie has been married twice - first to Peter Andre, with whom she has two children, Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four, with and secondly to Alex Reid, who she divorced after a year of marriage in February 2011, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Saif: Kareena And I Are Together

A day after stories of their split did the rounds, actor Saif Ali Khan has issued a statement saying that he and girlfriend Kareena Kapoor are very much together.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been together for almost four years now. The duo are reportedly passing through a rough patch as rumors about their strained relations and lack of trust start swirling thick and fast.

Recent reports had claimed, Saif wasn't happy with Kareena working around the clock, not spending enough time with him and more so, on how his girlfriend is spending too much money on her own family.

Actor Saif Ali Khan has already taken to damage control over such reports. He has slammed reports that his four-year-old relationship is going through a rough patch. "I'd like to reassure our fans and well wishers that all is well with Kareena and I...we are working hard but we always make time for each other. All these rumours are disturbing and untrue...especially when families are brought into it in such bad taste. I wouldn't like to say anymore except we are very happy together," the actor said in a statement.

Defending daughter Kanimozhi, Karunanidhi takes blame on himself

Defending daughter Kanimozhi, jailed in the 2G scam case, DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Sunday (05-June-2011) said it was he who insisted on her being a shareholder in Kalaignar TV, to which the money related to the spectrum allocation was routed.

"Kanimozhi's mistake is my mistake. It was I who compelled her to become a shareholder in Kalaignar TV with a view to settle her a base for her future," he said addressing a public meeting in his native constituency.

Karunanidhi said before "sorrow destroys" him, he will do all in his might to save and nurture the Dravidian movement. Kanimozhi, a minority stake-holder in the channel, has been jailed over transaction of Rs 200 crore from 2G accused Shahid Balwa''s firm, DB Realty.

While the DMK patriarch started mentioning about his retirement from active politics, he quickly changed track and said that he would not quit from public life (as of now).

The 88 year old former Tamil Nadu chief minister claimed that CBI, which is probing the case, had named his daughter, a Rajya Sabha member, since it had to hold someone accountable.

Karunanidhi did not meet Kanimozhi on his birthday

Former Tamil Nadu chief minister and Dravidar Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M. Karunanidhi turned 88 on Friday (03-June-2011).

His birthday, however, remained a low key affair, especially since his MP daughter Kanimozhi has been in jail.

Amidst multiple scams, DMK chief Karunanidhi on Friday issued a veiled message to his party cadre on his birthday. When asked what was his message to his cadres on his birthday, the DMK chief in a short statement said, "Bad friendship will end in trouble."

Mr Karunanidhi was rejected unequivocally last month in the Tamil Nadu elections, ending plans to return as Chief Minister. The DMK, which contested the elections with the Congress, was decimated with one of its worst-ever performances; its First Family finds itself mired in controversy over chronic corruption.

Perhaps the biggest blow for the former Chief Minister is that his daughter, Kanimozhi, is now in Tihar Jail in Delhi for allegedly accepting a bribe in the gigantic telecom scam that was reportedly engineered by A Raja, a Dalit leader of the DMK known for his proximity to Mr Karunanidhi's family.

Karunanidhi is scheduled to fly to Delhi today where he is likely to meet Kanimozhi in jail. He had earlier issued a statement, saying he was "not in the frame of mind" to participate in any event other than the planned wreath laying ceremony at memorials of Anna (former chief minister Annadurai) and Periyar (rationalist leader E V Ramasamy) on his 88th birthday.

He had also requested his partymen "not to compel him to meet them" and tendered apologies as he will not be able to meet them both in his house and at the party headquarters.

I'm not pregnant: Shilpa Shetty

After reports that celebrity co-owners of the IPL team Rajasthan Royals, Shilpa Shetty and hubby Raj Kundra are expecting a bundle of joy, the actress rubbished the rumours, saying that she is not pregnant.

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has taken to Twitter to deny pregnancy rumours, saying that she is "sick and tired" of the media speculation.

Though she tried to ignore rumours of her being pregnant initially, actress Shilpa Shetty has finally decided to speak up after being flooded by congratulatory messages from her friends and colleagues. “It gets on your nerves especially when I have not made any such announcement,” says Shilpa.

However, the actress indicates that she is not averse to starting a family. “The day I am (pregnant), I will announce it for sure,” she says.

The actress also requested the press to respect her privacy. "I do know I am in the public domain, and everyones curious, but these are sensitive issues, hence wud appreciate the press respects my privacy," she tweeted.

In 2009, she had said in an interview: "I'm desperate to start a family. I just love children, and we've a beautiful ready made nursery (in the new house). I want at least two children."

Shilpa and London-based businessman Raj Kundra were married on November 22, 2009.

Are gay men more at risk for cancer?

Gay men are nearly twice as likely to report being diagnosed with cancer when compared to heterosexual men, according to a new study released Monday (09-May-2011).

Does being homosexual influence one's risk of developing cancer? Why do bisexual and lesbian women who survive cancer appear to be less healthy than heterosexual female cancer survivors?

There are very few studies that link sexual orientation with disease, but this US study published in the journal Cancer has suggested that the cancer rate among gay men is higher than among heterosexuals while lesbian and bisexual women also have poorer health.

As background information, the researchers explained that cancer surveillance studies have never asked patients about their sexual orientation. So, there is very little data about on how many gay, lesbian or bisexual cancer survivors there are, and how they are.

The authors stressed that we still do not know why there is a higher rate of cancer among gay men. There are still many unanswered questions regarding the health status of lesbian and bisexual females. Older and sicker people were not included in the study.

The authors added that this study included only people in California, and all the cases of cancer diagnosis were self-reported ones.

Honeymoon time for Mahesh-Lara

Indian actress Lara Dutta got married to Mahesh Bhupathi two months back but unlike many other couples these two chose to give preference to their work commitments.

Ask actress Lara Dutta about life after marriage with Mahesh Bhupathi and she chuckles, "It's the same. I see so little of Mahesh as was the case even before our marriage."

Ever since they got married in February this year, Bhupathi has been busy with tennis tournaments, while Lara has been overseeing the post-production of Chalo Dilli. This film, to release on 29th of April 2011, marks the debut of both Lara and Mahesh as producers.

"We're both very busy. He travels 36 weeks of the year and I'm busy with work. But, at the end of the day, it makes you feel happy that there is someone in the world who you can go back home to," Lara says.

When they are home together, does the actor do anything romantic for her husband, like making morning tea perhaps? "I don’t want to poison my husband just two months after marriage," laughs Lara. "I have never tried my hand in the kitchen! I don’t have the time; I’m too busy getting ready to head to work every morning."

Do statements like, only out-of-work actresses turn producers bother her? "These statements are coming from people who haven’t done anything in life. These myth-like statements should just be banned," she says.

"We will soon start the pre-production of the next film from our banners. Meanwhile, I have Don 2 to look forward to," she concludes.

Now, when her first home production film is set to release this week, the actress will finally have some time for herself and for her hubby. It is believed that the couple plans to go on a honeymoon and has chosen Bali as their dream destination.

Woman jumps to death after flinging son down from building

In the second such incident in a month, a 34-year-old woman jumped to death from the terrace of her seven-storeyed building in suburban Dahisar here on Saturday (16-Apr-2011) afternoon, after flinging her 5-year-old son down.

Last month on International Women's Day, another woman jumped to death from the terrace of her building after throwing her two children down.

Husband couldn't believe it happened

Allegedly harassed by her in-laws, this housewife threw her five-year-old son off the terrace of a seven-storey housing society.

"Get up son. I know you are alive. Say something to your father. Your father loves you. Don’t do this to me," said Nilesh Chauhan in Gujrati on realising that the bodies lying in a pool of blood are those of this son Siddhesh and wife Dipti. He had come down on learning that someone had fallen off from the building.

Nilesh then moved to the body of his wife which was lying a couple of feet from that of his son. "Why did you do this? Please come back," he pleaded, before being pulled back by the neighbours.

Recalling the incident, witness Om Prakash Pandey, a businessman who resides in the building, said, "Nilesh was crying so hard holding their bodies that I had to pull him from there. He was obviously under a state of shock."

Husband and in-laws arrested

The police have arrested Deepti Chauhan's stockbroker husband Nilesh, his father Kantilal, elder brother Bharat and Bharat's wife Sarla on charges of abetment to suicide. Deepti is believed to have taken her son Sidhesh, known in the neighbourhood as 'Sidhu', to the terrace telling him they would play cricket there. "The child’s bat and ball are still lying on the terrace," said one of the residents.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Sunil Deshmukh said that Ms. Chauhan took the drastic step because her in-laws accused her of having an illicit relationship.

Shriya lashes out Rana and Bipasha

Shriya Saran is furious. Her anger is directed towards her 'once upon a time good friend' and South star Rana Dagubatti.

Rana Dagubatti, who forays into Hindi cinema with 'Dum Maaro Dum', has been more in the news for his alleged affairs with Bipasha Basu and the constant speculation about the relationship he shares with actress Shreya Saran.

Of the many reports that linked Rana to Bipasha, one went to the length of attributing his break-up with actor Shriya Saran, to the on-screen couples' off-screen chemistry.

Reports of a budding romance between Rana and his 'Dum Maro Dum' co-star Bipasha are aggressively doing the rounds, particularly post Bipasha's break up with beau John Abraham.

However when media approached Shriya, she had a different story altogether. And this is what's pissing off the pretty actress. "That's horrible to be dragged into somebody else's matter especially when I am not romantically involved with anyone. I don't know why they are using my name to publicize their film," fumes Shriya.

It’s no secret that Rana and Shriya have known each other for a long time and often hang out together among common friends. But, continuous link-up with long-time friend Rana has upset Shriya very much. The actress thinks that it’s Rana and Bips who are using her name to attract publicity for their film.

Shriya's parents are equally upset at seeing their daughter's name for all the wrong reasons. "My parents are most upset. It's very embarrassing to face them for something as obnoxious like this," admitted Shriya.

Shriya also states that she and Rana have never been in a relationship. "We have known each other since we were in school. We have the same set of friends and we hang out together. That's about it. Rana was never my boyfriend. I have been single and I am single".

Shriya says she wants to focus on her work and rumours like these do irritate her. She’s presently shooting for Deepa Mehta’s film Midnight’s Children in Sri Lanka.

Don't interfere in my life - Ranbir

Seems like Ranbir Kapoor has finally had enough of his Casanova days. After incessant link ups to his co-stars and public attention to his private life, Ranbir's parents are not amused and Ranbir has decided to call it quits, at least for a while.

After too many link ups and unending media speculations about him and his Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri and at times even Anushka Sharma, the handsome hunk Ranbir said: "I've had enough. I just want to withdraw from the limelight completely for some time."

He said in an interview, "I've no romantic inclination with either of the girls I'm being linked with. They are beautiful human beings, and good friends. But that's all. I am so neck deep in work, that I really have little time for anything else."

Denying reports that she is dating Rana Daggubati, Shriya says that it is just rumors. Bagging an international project opposite Siddharth, the actress has recently cleared the confusion about her link-up gossips.

"I met Rana when he was a student. I cherish friendly relationship with his family for eight years. I like them so much and they do respect me a lot. Except for friendship, there is nothing between me and Rana," she said.


Shriya further clarified that at present she is concentrating on Midnight`s Children, the film under the direction of Deepa Mehta..

South Indian actress Gopika was seen during July 2009 with convex shape (indicating "baby bump" or pregnancy) which led to rumour mills start "confirming" that she is pregnant. When asked for confirmation at that time, Gopika laughingly revealed that it was a get up for her forthcoming Malayalam flick Swantham Lekhakan (Swa Le),in which she plays a pregnant woman.

Coincidentally, other reports indicate that the actress and her husband are really planning to become parents. In a recent interview during Kerala Piravi, Gopika had stated that the couple plan to start a family soon. Gopika also reportedly told her dad Anto Francis the happy news that he will be a grandfather soon. Confirmation is awaited.

But now, the real bump seems to be appearing, as Gopika was spotted with a huge belly recently even after the finishing of the shooting for the film.

Shilpa gets ready for the grand wedding

Now that she is engaged and the wedding date has been finalised, Shilpa Shetty is gearing up for her sangeet ceremony in Khandala.

Shilpa will do all the requisite jhatkas-matkas while dancing to some of her most popular Bollywood songs with fiancé Raj Kundra at their sangeet.

Preparations are on in full swing and choreographer Ganesh Hegde will see to it that everybody's dance moves are perfect at the sangeet on November 21, a day before the wedding. The couple's family members and close friends will also be performing.

Giving us all the details, Ganesh says, “The sangeet is not a professional thing for me. I am related to Shilpa. We are keeping this as personal as possible and haven't involved any professional dancers. We're planning something cute where all the family members pay tribute to each other.
